This year, I have made a very special commitment.

I will be participating in a Melanoma Walk/Run to support melanoma research and awareness. This is a very important event for me. I will be walking in memory my mom Dawn Stearns who passed away in 2007 from Melanoma.

My personal challenge begins now. I have committed to raising $250.

Melanoma is the fastest growing cancer in the United States and worldwide. One person dies every 60 minutes from melanoma. And, there is no effective medical therapy for metastatic melanoma.

I'm taking on this challenge to do something big that will increase awareness and support research for the CURE.
