Dr. John Kirkwood: Dr. Kirkwood is the Usher Professor of Medicine and Dermatology University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the Director of the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Program at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute Dr. Kirkwood is internationally renowned for pioneering research in the development of biological therapies for melanoma.. He is a member of numerous medical oncology and research societies and has co-authored more than 300 peer-reviewed articles, chapters and reviews, focusing heavily upon melanoma. In 1995 Dr. Kirkwood assumed the Chairmanship of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group's Melanoma Committee

 

Dr. Mohammed Kashani-Sabet: Dr. Kashani-Sabet is Associate Professor of Dermatology at California Pacific Medical Center. He is the Herschel and Diana Zackheim Endowed Chair in Cutaneous Oncology and serves as the Director of the CPMC melanoma Center, and Clinical leader of the Cutaneous Oncology Program at the CPMC Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Kashani-Sabet's research is focused on the prognostic approach to patients disease state and the identification of of melanoma progression genes, and the development gene Therapies for patients with melanoma, areas which he has published extensively. Dr. Kashani-Sabet is a member of numerous professional societies, and serves on the editorial board of Cancer Gene Therapy. 

 

Dr. Renu Gupta: Dr. Gupta is the Executive Vice President of Development & Chief Medical Officer of Transave Inhalation Biotherapeutics. Dr. Gupta was formerly at Antigenics, Inc., where she was Senior Vice President of Development, advancing its immunotherapy and small molecule pipeline for Oncology and Infectious Diseases Her work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Infectious Diseases and she has been active in numerous relevant academic and professional societies such as the Infectious Disease Society of America and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

 

Dr. Howard Maibach Dr. Maibach is a professor in the Department of Dermatology, School of Medicine, at the University of California in San Francisco Dr. Maibach is a recognized expert in the field of Dermatology, and specifically, dermatopharmacology and dermatotoxicology. Dr. Maibach has published over 1700 articles on various dermatology-related subjects, and is a frequent lecturer on various subjects related to dermatology. 

Valerie Guild: Ms. Guild serves as the President of the AIM at Melanoma Foundation. She holds an MBA and an MS in Education. After spending 25 years in the private sector, Ms.Guild started working in the area of melanoma advocacy in 2003 after the death of her daughter  from melanoma.
