Darling Kim had a flesh-colored lesion on her back that was not visually like the typical melanoma pictures shown in pamphlets. It metastasized to her bones, and she fought courageously for 22 months.

We are grateful for the clinical trials that did prolong her life and hopefully will provide cures in the future. Baylor Cancer Center Dallas and Texan Oncology Dallas were wonderful, caring, sensitive, accommodating, and every attribute I could list. Kim’s message at the end was: “I love you Lord. It’s all about Your Kingdom.”

Kim leaves her three adult children who were treasures in her heart. And she was a treasure in our hearts. We love you, Kimmie, and will miss you forever.
