AIM Launches The Melanoma Learning Center

AIM at Melanoma, the trusted global leader in melanoma education and advocacy, invites you to visit the newly launched Melanoma Learning Center, a virtual hub for melanoma education on our website.  The Learning Center is designed to be a one-stop destination for patients, healthcare providers, caregivers, and families for reliable melanoma information and resources.

AIM has worked extensively with melanoma oncology nurses to create side effect management resources for all patients. For every melanoma treatment, there is a comprehensive packet of information on all aspects of that treatment, including a complete listing of side effect symptoms and their care presented in a clear and organized manner.  These packets are available for all drug treatments currently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for melanoma and can be downloaded and printed for easy reference at home.

But that’s not all.  Visitors to the Learning Center can view “Living with Melanoma” videos; use our clinical trial matching service; find a melanoma specialist in their area; look up melanoma terminology in our glossary.  As with anything on, you can count on our educational materials being medically accurate and up-to-date, and presented in a way that is understandable for the non-expert.

Visitors will also learn about the AIM resources available for healthcare professionals, a critically important piece of our educational work of which patients are often not aware.

The Learning Center’s resources will grow and change regularly, so check back periodically to see what’s new.

Please visit The Melanoma Learning Center and let us know what you think.
