Jim Phillips

My dad was a wonderful man. He raised me and my older brother with my mother’s help. He was a hardworking man who did anything to make sure we were happy.

He was diagnosed with Stage IV melanoma a few days after his 50th birthday in March 2010. He had a short fight and lost his battle in July 2010, just 4 short months later.

He was a wonderful father, brother, husband, and grandpa to four. I am currently pregnant with his fifth grandchild, who is a boy and will be named after my dad.

We miss you so much. You were the kindest person I’ve ever known. You always thought of everyone before yourself, and I was blessed to have you in my life for 23 years.
