Suzanne Lescure, Ocular Melanoma

Diagnosed: 09/08/2003

I was diagnosed with Malignant Conjunctival Melanoma (surface of my eye).

I had too many surgeries on my eye to count.

It spread to stage 4 in 3 short years. I was given 6 to 9 months to live.

I was given aggressive biochemotherapy (Vinblastine, Cisplatin, Temodar, Interferon, Leukine)
and high dose Interleukin 2, over an 18 month period.

In 2011 I lost my eye and eyelids.

2017- Celebrating 10 years of No Evidence of Disease!!
