Diagnosed 09/11/1978

I was diagnosed in September of 1978 and  had surgery at Duke Medical Center. They found melanoma in the lymph nodes in my left arm pit in late February of 1979. I had lymph nodes removed the 1st week of March at DUMC. I was treated with immunotherapy that Dr. Siegler at Duke Hospital was experimenting with. I have been cancer free ever since, praise the Lord!!!! I hope this will be an inspiration to someone else.
