We’re excited to share the latest episode of the AIM at Melanoma podcast, featuring an inspiring conversation with Abby Singh, a melanoma survivor diagnosed as an Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA). Abby’s story is one of resilience, hope, and dedication—not only in her personal journey but also in her impactful work supporting cancer patients through education and nutrition.

Abby’s Journey: From Diagnosis to Advocacy

Abby was diagnosed with melanoma during her teenage years, an experience that profoundly shaped her life and career. Today, she is the Director of Patient Content and Nutrition Education Services at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), where she develops vital resources for patients and caregivers, including the widely used Survivorship Workbooks.

In this episode, Abby shares candid insights into her diagnosis, treatment, and what life has been like after cancer. She talks about how her experience fuels her passion for creating nutrition programs that support people living with all types of cancer.

Life Beyond Cancer: Roots, Passions, and Family

Abby also opens up about life outside of cancer—from her Tennessee roots in Sevierville (the hometown of Dolly Parton) to her love of fiction writing, bar trivia, and family life with her husband, young son, and two cats. Her story is a reminder of the full lives cancer survivors can lead and the importance of community and support along the way.
