How Tennis Star Naomi Osaka is Helping People of Color Protect Their Skin

We’re proud to partner with Mediaplanet on the recently published Skin Health campaign, out today! Skin diseases affect as many as one in three Americans at any given time and skin cancer is still the most common type of cancer worldwide. So with the help of influencers and celebrities — including tennis star Naomi Osaka — as well as medical experts and advocates, this campaign is dispelling harmful skincare myths and encouraging better skin cancer prevention methods, particularly for people of color. The campaign was distributed through LA Times on May 28, 2021, and is published online, bringing awareness about skin cancer and melanoma to an estimated 10 million readers. Find the campaign in LA Times or read it online: https://www.futureofpersonalhealth.com/campaign/skin-health/
