Carol began fighting melanoma when she was only in her 20s, but then it was only a skin disease, so they simply removed it. Twenty some years later, it came back and attacked her lungs and quickly progressed into Stage IV melanoma. Four days before she passed, her liver began to fail (after being in the hospital for 13 days prior). After 10 months of clinical trial drugs, harsh side effects, and many God-given miracles, the Lord decided to call her home.
She was unconscience for the last 4 days of her life, but by the grace of God, we all got the chance to say goodbye. Carol is finally at peace and in the most beautiful place imaginable. She will forever be with us and watching over us.
We love you.
In His Grace.
