Diana touched the lives of so many people. She survived a fight with Stage IV malignant melanoma 18 years ago, and because of that she was very outspoken about sun damage and didn’t mind telling a stranger to stay out of a tanning bed. She would offer sunblock to people she didn’t even know. That’s just the way she was.
In early 2012 after giving birth to her second daughter, we learned she had melanoma again. She fought as long and as hard as she could but passed away Jan. 2, 2013, with her sweet husband and 8-year-old daughter by her side.
While I know she suffers no more, I miss my sister and best friend.
