Tyler was diagnosed 9 months before his death with malignant melanoma. He was not a sun worshiper and worked in an office. One day he found a nasty mole on the back of his leg but did not get it checked out right away due to not having health insurance. He had to wait for the insurance to kick in. Once he had insurance, it was to late. It had spread to his lymph nodes in his groin.
Tyler had the nodes removed, and the next PET scan was clear. Three months later, in August 2010, the cancer had spread to his liver, spleen, and kidneys. It was only 3 months later that the cancer took him away from us. He passed away at the age of 28 on November 2, 2010.
He would want to be remembered by the following saying (which is how he lived life): “Don’t Worry, ‘Bout a Thing ‘Cause Every Little Thing Gonna Be Alright,” by Bob Marley.
