My daddy was an amazing father, husband, brother, friend, and Houston Fire Fighter and Paramedic. He retired from the HFD after 30 years of service. He married his high school sweetheart 39 years ago.
He was the strongest person I know. He was such a fighter, battling two different types of cancer and a traumatic brain injury. I miss him so very much.
I love you, Daddy. All I have to do to see you is look up at the moon! I love you and miss you so incredibly much!

Miss you!

Pat was not just my brother-in-law, he was my brother. He was one of the few men that I admired; our whole family LOVED this wonderful man. To find someone like him is impossible because God only made one “Pookie.”
He battled cancer starting in 1996 and beat it. He survived a traumatic brain injury in 2006, and although life was very different for him since that day, he still smiled, he still loved, he still LIVED, and he still believed in GOD. Melanoma took his life. I believe that although we were not ready to let him go, he was ready.
He is a tribute to our family, he kept us together, and we will love him forever!
Julia House, sister-in-law
