There is not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. I see your DOT work trucks all around me and your friends as I drive, and wish you were still in one. As I drive down our block pull in the driveway, I still hear the sound of your truck pulling in and you opening the door and yelling “Ma.”

I don’t know why God would take my son from me, or Melissa’s Dad from her and leave her without a father at 10 years old. I dream of you every night and still cry every day. The hole in my heart will never close. I love you and miss you, my beautiful and handsome son.

Eleanor, mother
