My son was diagnosed with melanoma in 2005, and they removed it and then it came back in 2013, attacking his stomach. They started him on Zelboraf, and the tumors shrunk. The cancer attacked his brain in July. They did all kinds of radiation and three surgeries. They didn’t work. In January they told us no hope for a cure. We tried one more medicine, and it didn’t work. We brought on hospice, and my son passed away on April 26. My father-in-law passed on May 3 from melanoma also. This has been a really rough year for my family.
