Living with Melanoma Patient Symposium

Join UT Southwestern Medical Center and AIM at Melanoma for a free Living With Melanoma Symposium designed for people living with melanoma, as well as their families and caregivers. The program brings together leading melanoma specialists to discuss the latest advances in treatment, emerging therapies, and managing treatment-related side effects. Through clear, understandable presentations and opportunities to ask questions, attendees will gain valuable information and resources to help them better understand their treatment options and make informed decisions about their care.

  • Personalized cancer vaccines — including intismeran, an investigational vaccine therapy being studied for melanoma.
  • Tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy — how this treatment works and what patients can expect during the process.
  • New cellular therapies — including emerging treatment approaches being studied for melanoma.
  • Skin reactions to immunotherapy — including common skin-related side effects and how they may be managed.
  • Treatment options after PD-1 immunotherapy — including RP1 and what this treatment approach may mean for patients with melanoma.
  • Support and education resources — including free resources available to patients and caregivers through AIM at Melanoma.

The program will also include opportunities to ask questions and hear directly from melanoma specialists.
