What is a “no-show” gala?

AIM at Melanoma’s Third Annual No Show Gala & Auction is a unique fundraiser that allows people the opportunity to give without the need to buy a ticket, attend a dinner, spend a night away from family, pay for a sitter, purchase a special outfit, or even leave their house.

For AIM, it means that we don’t have to find a venue, hire a caterer, contemplate centerpieces, or plan a program just for a one-day event. Instead, with no overhead or expenses for the event, 100% of funds raised will go directly to our critical melanoma research initiatives.

While we have suggested levels of giving, there’s no amount that’s too small.  You can also take advantage of our Recurring Donor option to set up a monthly donation on your credit card or through your bank account. Additionally, as we’re wrapping up 2021, keep in mind that your donation to our Gala may be tax-deductible (talk to your tax advisor).

We also have a fantastic online auction with items that are perfect for holiday gifts. Start your shopping while raising funds for melanoma research!

We kicked off the year talking about resilience.
Let’s close 2021 with a round of gratitude.

3rd Annual No Show Gala
Duration (Thursday, November 25, 2021 – Friday, December 31, 2021)

The world has changed so much over the past year that we felt it appropriate to focus on GRATITUDE for this year’s theme. Gratitude has the power to energize. It has the power to heal. And perhaps most importantly, gratitude has the power to bring hope. For patients with melanoma, the future is often unknown, and hope is the belief that a positive outcome lies ahead. Now, more than ever, that belief has never been more important.

The pandemic has had a massive impact on people living with melanoma—but there’s real hope for the future too. As a melanoma research and advocacy foundation, we know that people with melanoma were hit especially hard by the pandemic. Not just by the virus itself, but also by delayed diagnoses and treatments, halted clinical trials, and an ever-increasing impact on research funding.

That’s a lot of ground to recover and so much more left to do. But at AIM at Melanoma, we believe that we can get there. We have hope.

If your life has been impacted by melanoma, please consider making a gift in support of our Gratitude Gala.

Together we can all play a part in saving lives in the future.

You are helping to end melanoma. And for that, we are truly grateful.

We’re kicking off this year’s event on the evening of Thanksgiving, November 25th, at 8:00 pm CST with an online silent auction! Bids will be accepted through 8:00 pm CST on Sunday, December 5th. Please bid on auction items, give a cash donation, or simply share this auction on social media to make a difference. Click here to view and bid on our online silent auction items.
